All events are multiple re-entry, No-Limit Hold'em unless otherwise noted. Best stack forward applies to multi-flight Day 1 events, with minimum cash awarded for any extra bags in events still in progress at the end of Day 1. Action Clock
The Action Clock is introduced at the end of Level 15 on each Day 1 flight. Each player receives four time extensions at the end of Level 15, four more at the start of Day 2, four when 24 players remain, and four at the unofficial final table of nine. Time extension chips accumulate and do not reset.
Ante Format (Big Blind Ante)
A single ante is posted by the player in the big blind, in an amount equal to the big blind. Per current TDA recommendations, the big blind is posted before the ante when a player has less than a big blind plus ante.
Buy-in & Fees
The ₩1,750,000 Championship buy-in is made up of ₩1,575,000 to the prize pool and a ₩175,000 entry fee. The staff fee on all other events is 4% up to a ₩2,750,000 buy-in, and 3% above that, unless noted otherwise.
Levels
Day 1 levels are 40 minutes and play continues until the money. Day 2 and Day 3 levels are 60 minutes until heads-up, then 30 minutes with two players remaining.
Re-entry
Re-entry is permitted for each starting flight until registration closes.
Late Registration
Registration closes at the start of Level 10 on each Day 1 flight.
Starting Stack
Players start with 40,000 in tournament chips. Late registrants and alternates begin with a full starting stack. At the close of the registration period, any paid entries (including alternates) not yet seated are assigned a table and seat and their chips are put into play.
Breaks
A 15-minute break is taken every 3 levels during 40-minute levels, and every 2 levels during 60-minute levels.
Players Per Table
Day 1 flights play 9-handed. Day 2 onward plays 8-handed where space permits — if Day 2 begins 9-handed, tables are rebalanced at the Tournament Director's discretion. The Final Table plays 9-handed.
Payouts
Approximately one in every eight entries (about 12.5%) finishes in the money.
Player's Card & Player Release
All Championship players must hold a Players Rewards card and have executed the WPT Player Release Form to participate.
Seating Redraws
Full redraws happen at the end of Day 1 and at the unofficial final table of nine. Once six tables remain, random table breaks are used until that final redraw.
